Getting There
Depart Brisbane with your skilled driver on this fully guided off-road adventure.
Travel to The Port of Brisbane where we board the luxury sea ferry Micat. Cruise out of the Brisbane River, across Moreton Bay Marine Park, sometimes spotting dolphins, fish, whales, dugong and turtles along the way.
Arrive at Moreton Island on the west coast near the shipwrecks at Tangalooma. The 3 level ferry allows for great photo’s.
Landing for your Moreton Island Holiday you drive onto the Sandy Beach, of the world’s third largest sand island. Travel with your guide by 4WD to the desert, pass beautiful wildflowers and bird life to the remote sand hills.
Fun on the Hills
Here your guide will take you with equipment to the sand hills for some sandsurfing .
Take the sand hill at speed or try a gentle slope (speeds up to 65kms an hour when dry).
This area is great for walks, hikes and photography.
After this adventure you head to the eastern surf Beach of Moreton Island, a short coastal forest walk to the sand filtered fresh waters of Blue Lagoon. Have your picnic lunch in nature’s paradise.
Head out again to see more of the Island before returning to camp for the night .
The Nights
After tea sit by the campfire discussing the days events, under the stars then off to bed for a good nights sleep.
Up early starting your second day early, first up breakfast then off driving to Cape Morten Lighthouse then back to the beach for a swim.
Travel back to Tangalooma shipwrecks for a beach walk, take some photos of the afternoon sunset, before leaving Moreton Island, returning to The Port of Brisbane by sea ferry then back to the Transit Center where you farewell your driver.
