From here, you would want to break down this one big goal into smaller more attainable goals. No one ever goes out and says they will run a full marathon without having first succeeded at running shorter distances. This is also true in real life. You will feel a lot less overwhelmed with these mini-goals.
They will allow you to feel a sense of accomplishment earlier on and therefore giving you the much needed confidence to keep going.
Distractions are Always Around
They become even more apparent when you are working towards something important. Be sure to avoid being pulled in all sorts of directions and keep yourself focused on your goal, by using your time wisely you will be able to attain your mini-goals faster and edging your way closer and closer to your main goal.
If you have had a negative approach to your life for a while, it is often hard to think positive.
Change Your Thinking
However, it is important to change your way of thinking and realise that anything can happen. Try to get rid of the negative thinking and in fact, phrases like “I can’t” and “It’s impossible” should not be a part of your vocabulary.
If you encounter a brick wall do not give up. Instead, think outside the box and find another way to make it happen.
As soon as you are able to afford coaching, look for someone who has a good reputation with personal development coaching.
Life will always give you excuses as to why you should not start making changes right away, with coaching you are more likely to start making those changes.
Don’t Put Off Actions
It is important not to drag your feet once you have pinpointed what changes would make a difference in your life. It may feel a little strange at first pushing yourself out of your comfort zone, but know that the sooner you start, the sooner you will have a new and happier you.
